OFFICE MANAGER

Southeastern Theatre Conference (SETC) is a non-profit organization that promotes and supports theatre in the United States. We seek a skilled and detail-oriented Office Manager to join our team. The selected candidate will handle various administrative tasks, including payroll, light bookkeeping, correspondence, membership coordination, travel arrangements, and other duties as needed.

Job Responsibilities:
– Manage payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely payments for employees and contractors
– Handle light bookkeeping duties, including recording financial transactions and maintaining financial records using QuickBooks
– Draft professional letters and correspondence for internal and external communication
– Respond to emails promptly and effectively, maintaining a high standard of professionalism
– Coordinate, track, and manage membership activities, including new member inquiries and membership renewals
– Manage travel bookings for staff and guest speakers attending conferences and events
– Maintain office supplies inventory and ensure a well-organized office operations
– Provide onsite administrative support for various projects and initiatives as needed for conferences and SETC-hosted events.

Requirements:
– Proven experience in office management or a related administrative role
– Strong understanding of payroll processes, bookkeeping principles, and proficiency in QuickBooks
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications
– Experience in coordinating travel arrangements is a plus
– Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field preferred
