Undergraduate Design/Tech Interviews:

Atlanta, GA
Undergraduate Auditions:
Friday, March 4, 2011
Atlanta, GA
SETC conducts auditions and coordinates interviews for high school students and college transfer students during the Annual Spring Convention each March.
Students seeking admission to College/University/Training programs can audition for and/or interview with school representatives all in one place, saving the expense of traveling to multiple schools.
All actors looking for a college program in theatre will be allowed to audition. Repeat. All actors including juniors, seniors and transfers will be allowed to audition for the college representatives this year in Lexington.
In addition to the Auditions we will now have Design/Tech Interviews and there will no longer be a category called College Interviews. Students who are interested in entering programs for Design/Tech will be in a separate section of the same packet with the actors. Schools will again have the ability to "call" Design/Tech students for an interview in the early part of the convention; design students will have a space in the Exhibit Hall to display their portfolios.
Undergraduate Auditions/Design Tech Interviews will now be held on Friday March 5th. This will allow students and colleges Friday night and Saturday morning to finish their callbacks. Graduate auditions will now be held on Saturday March 6th.
All Undergraduate Auditions/Design Tech Interviews must apply online. No paper applications will be accepted.
The deadline for applications is January 28, 2011. Acceptance is based on the order in which applications are received and approved. Follow the guidelines carefully when completing the application.
All applicants must have access to an email address for notifications and the ability to pay with a credit card (Visa or MasterCard). If you or your school cannot gain access to a computer or credit card payment, let the SETC office know and we will help you.
