The Omni Charlotte is located on the corner of E Trade and Tryon
in uptown Charlotte. It is just 3 blocks, a short 3-5 minute walk from Spirit Square where the
professional and graduate school auditions will be held on stage at the McGlohon Theatre.
Parking at the Omni is only for overnight guests and is based on availability. |
Room Rates:
Single or Double Room $ 92.00 (plus tax)
Parlour Suites, 1 Bedroom $184.00 (plus tax)
Deadline for hotel reservations is 5:00 pm Thursday, August 15, 2008.
A one-night deposit is required with each
reservation. A 72-hour notice is
required for a room cancellation refund. Check-in time is 3:00 pm; check-out time is 12:00 noon.

From I-77 North: Take Exit 10 (Trade Street)
From I-85: Take I-77 South to Exit 10-B (Trade Street)
Go east on Trade Street toward uptown for approximately one mile, crossing the Square at Tryon Street; the Omni
Hotel is located on the corner. The motor lobby entrance is located half a block past Tryon Street on the right.

Suggested Walking Route From
The Omni Hotel to Spirit Square:
(Tryon Street Entrance)
- From the Omni Main Lobby, go down to street level.
- Take a right out of the hotel onto Tryon Street. Walk 2 blocks.
- Spirit Square is on the right between 6th and 7th Streets. If Spirit Square's entrance on
Tryon is not open, please go around the corner to the back and use the College Street entrance.
PLEASE NOTE:
• Overnight self-parking is $12.00 per day; Valet Parking $20 a day.
• Reservations should be made under the "SETC Block" or "Southeastern
Theatre Conference Block" by deadline to receive discounted rates.
• In the event you have reserved a room within the SETC block of rooms and check out prior to
your reserved checkout date, the hotel will add an early checkout fee of $50.00 to your
individual account. To avoid this fee, please advise the hotel before check-in of any
change in planned length of stay.
• Based on availability, the Omni Charlotte will extend our discount rate of $92.00 for Monday
night if booked by August 15th. All special arrangements for early arrival or late departure
should be made directly with the hotel.
• Room rates do not include 15.25% tax.
